The National Assembly of the Republika Srpska adopted tonight in Banja Luka the report on the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska for the year 2023.
Republika Srpska Minister of Internal Affairs Siniša Karan said earlier in this regard that the crime rate in the RS is the lowest in the region.
The Assembly also received the annual report of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH for the year 2023, as well as the annual report on the results of the activities of the Ombudsman for Human Rights of BiH institution for the past year.
Information on the decisions on pardons in 2023 was also received, and information on the obligations for BiH and the RS arising from the process of joining the EU with an overview of the measures and activities implemented during the past year was adopted.
The MPs adopted the decision on accepting the debt of the RS from the Development Bank of the Council of Europe for the project of reconstruction, construction and equipping of the facilities of four psychiatric institutions of the Republika Srpska, as well as the decision on giving consent for the alienation of movable property ⁘ official vehicles to the Public Enterprise ⁘Radio-television of the Republika Srpska⁘.
The Assembly elected Goran Račić as the President of the Management Board of the Republika Srpska Insurance Agency for a period of five years.
The Parliament did not elect Predrag Ujić from the Serb people, but Saša Andrijašević from the Croat and Dragana Čavka from the Bosniak people as a member of the Management Board of Radio and Television of the Republika Srpska.
