Naturium Expands To Ulta

Staff inbox at Glossy: Naturium Skincare, acquired by El.f. Beauty in a $355 million cash and stock deal nine months prior, has announced its expansion into Ulta Beauty. Currently available in Target, Amazon, and on its official website, Naturium will make its Ulta Beauty debut in summer 2024, according to an earnings call by E.l.f. Beauty CEO Tarang P. Amin. The news comes alongside the conglomerate's milestone achievement of over $1 billion in net sales and 21 consecutive quarters of growth.

In addition to the Ulta Beauty announcement, Amin also shared that Naturium added 17 points to the company's net sales growth during the previous quarter. The expansion is part of E.l.f. Beauty's larger initiative to increase its skincare sales. According to Amin, "we're innovating in the industry's top segments... where we under-index on shares like skin care." The company has made significant strides in the cosmetics market, "tripling its market share over the past five years," but ⁘⁘⁘ underpenetrated in the skincare segment... where it holds less than 2% share compared to 10.5% in cosmetics.
