A French fashion, jewelry, and accessories exhibition featuring over 300 pieces from the late 18th to early 20th centuries is set to open in Hong Kong in June. This exhibit is part of a series of four exhibitions held at the West Kowloon Cultural District this year to commemorate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and France.

The event will also mark the Asian debut of the Musee des Arts Decoratifs, Paris. According to Palace Museum director Louis Ng Chi-wa, this type of exhibition aims to encourage cultural exchange and dialogue between China and the rest of the world.
