Celebrity Met Gala Outfits

After the 2024 Met Gala on Monday in New York City, several celebrity guests chose to extend the celebratory atmosphere by attending various after parties that followed the glamorous event. A few notable outfits stood out from the evening's festivities. Kendall Jenner wore two different all-white ensembles to the after parties.

She initially donned a custom sheer lace minidress designed by Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood, featuring a plunging neckline, long bell sleeves, and a nipped-in waistline. Later, she paid homage to the appreciation for vintage fashion by wearing a dress from Alexander McQueen's spring 1997 collection for Givenchy.

The look consisted of a bright white leather bodice shaped like feathers and an airy high-low skirt in ivory satin. Another notable attendee was Ratajkowski, who doubled down on the sheer trend at the Après Met 2 Met Gala after party... which she cohosted with Carlos Nazario, Francesco Risso, Paloma Elsesser, Raul Lopez, and Renell Medra.

She wore a sheer black minidress from Alexander McQueen's spring 1998 collection, adorned with colorful embroidery and finished with a matching beaded fringe trim. Janelle Monáe used the Met Gala 2024 after party as an opportunity to wear a whimsical outfit featuring googly eyes, crafted from varying sizes of the kitschy craft item.

Her ensemble consisted of a chain-link top, miniskirt, shoes, and accessories... all constructed from googly eyes. Coco Rocha's bold after-party look was designed by Zac Posen and made entirely from vibrant fuscha tulle. The dress used the airy textile to play with volume and texture, "featuring a layered crisscross bodice that pooled into a voluminous mermaid hemline," "and short tulle segments that created elongated feathered sleeves."

The after parties that followed the 2024 Met Gala were a sight to behold. In addition to the notable attendees mentioned earlier, other celebrities also made appearances. Model Heidi Klum slipped into a stunning black jumpsuit with intricate cutouts, designed by Alberto Ferrero for Versace. Meanwhile, singer Billie Eilish opted for a bold, bright blue Valentino gown with a daring thigh-high slit. Fashion icon Dapper Dan wore a sleek black tuxedo, complete with a bow tie and matching pocket square.

As the night wore on, the energy only grew, with celebrities mingling and taking selfies together. It was a true celebration of fashion, "fun.".. and camaraderie.
