Michelle Pfeiffer leads The Madison , a new Paramount+ series from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan. Taylor Sheridan began his quest towards television dominance with Yellowstone , a sweeping saga about Montana's Dutton dynasty. As the writer, director, and producer built upon his crown jewel with Yellowstone prequels like 1883 and 1923 , he experimented with dramas that took him to Detroit ( Mayor of Kingstown ), Tulsa ( Tulsa King ), and Texas ( Landman ). In March, Sheridan will debut two new shows on Paramount+ that take him back to Big Sky Country. One is Y: Marshals , a Yellowstone spinoff about Luke Grimes' Kayce Dutton. The other is The Madison , an original series set in the Madison River valley of central Montana. Christina Alexandra Voros, a Yellowstone vet who earned an Emmy nomination for her work on 1883 , will serve as its director.

The Madison was first announced in 2024 with a starry cast including Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, and Matthew Fox. It took a while, but now we finally know more about the drama, including its release date.
